Congratulations to Alex Weber! Richard Wojtowicz, president of the Williamsville Rotary Club presented a $2000.00 check to Alex Weber, the winner of the 2023 Williamsville Rotary Club and Amherst Symphony Friends Scholarship Award. The award was presented at the Buffalo Country Club where Alex performed. Alex will be attending Berkeley College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Friends of the Amherst Symphony and the Williamsville Rotary Club offer an annual scholarship to a high school senior who lives in the Amherst area and plans to major or double major at an accredited music school. The winner of the music scholarship will be awarded $2000.00 and any high school senior in the Town of Amherst is eligible.
